Pleasant weather during New Year weekend

Weather will remain pleasant throughout the New Year weekend with cool conditions prevailing Northern Provinces and warmer weather throughout the Southern Provinces, forecast the National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center
A weak cold front will move into Northern Vietnam on December 30, but will not decrease temperatures considerably in the northern and central regions but will quickly abate, to bring about milder conditions during the New Year weekend.
Northern weather will be cloudy in mornings and slightly sunny in afternoons.
Temperatures will hover around 14-16 degrees Celsius at night and increase to 18-24 degrees during daytime in the northern regions; though some places may experience 23-25 degrees.
Mountainous areas will remain colder with mercury falling to 8-10 degrees.
In the southern regions, the sky will remain clear throughout the weekend. It will be sunny during daytime with temperatures swinging between 28-32 degrees. Scattered showers are expected in some places during nighttime.
The current low pressure zone operating in the southern East Sea will not affect the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern regions.
